Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Helix Athletic for use of the Helix app.

Last updated: August 18, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Helix Athletic. By creating an account, signing in, or using the Helix app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your gym has its own separate agreement with you covering membership, dues, scheduling, and access to its facility. These terms cover the Helix software, not your gym membership.

Not medical advice

Helix does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. The training programs, assessments, movement screens, and recommendations produced by Helix are fitness and performance information. They are not a medical opinion, and they do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or condition.

Consult a physician before beginning any training program, and especially before beginning one if you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, managing a chronic condition, or taking medication that affects exertion, balance, or heart rate.

Training carries inherent risk of injury. Resistance training, plyometric work, conditioning, and loaded movement can cause injury even when performed correctly and under supervision. You assume that risk when you train.

If you experience chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any symptom that concerns you during or after training, stop and seek medical attention. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read in Helix.

Nothing in the app should be read as a clinical judgment about you. Your physiotherapist, physician, or coach makes those calls; Helix organizes the information they work from.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when you create an account, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Accounts are personal. Do not share sign-in credentials, and do not use another person’s account.

Athletes under 18 are enrolled by a gym with a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on their behalf.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access records belonging to anyone whose data you are not authorized to see;
  • probe, scan, or interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass its authentication, rate limits, or access controls;
  • copy, scrape, or redistribute the exercise library, program content, or any other part of the service other than your own records;
  • upload malicious code, or use the service to harass or endanger anyone; or
  • use the service in violation of any applicable law.

Your information and our content

You keep ownership of the information you provide. You grant Helix the permission it needs to store, process, and display that information in order to run the service for you and your gym. Our handling of it is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Helix software, exercise library, program-generation logic, and branding are ours or our licensors’. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app, and nothing more.

Memberships and billing

Where your gym bills you through Helix, charges, renewal dates, and cancellation terms are set by your gym. Payments are processed by Stripe. Deleting your Helix account does not cancel a membership or stop billing — contact your gym to end a membership.

Ending your account

You may request deletion of your account at any time; self-serve in-app deletion at Profile → Security → Delete account is rolling out. The steps and consequences are set out on the Account deletion page. We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms, or where a gym ends its relationship with us.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular training outcome will follow from using it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Helix Athletic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here limits the responsibilities of your gym, your physician, or your physiotherapist.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and material changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
